Relocate from Dubai to Singapore

Trusted relocation, residency, and business setup support for expats moving from Dubai and the UAE to Singapore.

Why Singapore is the Next Step for Dubai Expats

Singapore offers an unmatched combination of political stability, AAA-rated governance, and direct access to the fastest-growing markets in Asia. For Dubai expats, it provides a clear long-term pathway through Permanent Residency and citizenship — something rarely available in the UAE.

World-class healthcare, top-tier international schools, 0% tax on overseas income, and one of the safest urban environments globally make Singapore the natural next base for families and founders relocating from the Middle East.

Your Relocation Options — Work, Business, or Invest

Employment Pass — Relocate for a Singapore Job

The Employment Pass (EP) is the most common route for Dubai-based professionals taking up a role with a Singapore-registered employer. It is valid up to 2 years and renewable, and is the standard precursor to a PR application.

EntrePass — Bring Your Business to Singapore

Designed for foreign founders of innovative or venture-backed businesses, the EntrePass lets you incorporate and actively run your company in Singapore. Ideal for Dubai-based founders relocating an existing venture.

Global Investor Programme — Fast-Track PR for Investors

The GIP grants Singapore PR directly to qualifying investors committing from S$2.5 million into a Singapore business, fund, or family office. A common route for high-net-worth families relocating from the UAE.

How to Relocate from Dubai to Singapore — Step by Step

  1. 1

Decide your pathway — work, business, or investor

Your relocation route depends on your goal. If you have a job offer in Singapore, you will need an Employment Pass. If you want to start a business, consider an EntrePass or company incorporation. High-net-worth investors may qualify for the Global Investor Programme (GIP) and Singapore PR directly.

  2. 2

Secure your Singapore work pass or visa

Apply for the appropriate Singapore pass — Employment Pass, EntrePass, or S Pass — before relocating. Your employer or a registered agent can file the application with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

  3. 3

Incorporate your Singapore company (if self-employed or business owner)

Register your company with ACRA before or shortly after arriving. A Singapore Pte. Ltd. can be incorporated in 1 to 3 working days. You will need a local director and a registered office address.

  4. 4

    Arrange housing and schooling

Singapore has a range of housing options from HDB rentals to private condominiums. International schools are available for expatriate families. We can provide referrals to trusted relocation agents.

  5. 5

    Open a Singapore bank account

Open a personal or corporate bank account with a major Singapore bank. Some banks allow account opening before arrival. We assist with introductions to DBS, OCBC, UOB, and international banks.

  6. 6

Apply for Singapore PR after arrival

Once you have been working in Singapore for at least 6 months on an Employment Pass or S Pass, you can apply for Permanent Residency through ICA. We guide you through the full application process.

Singapore PR for Dubai Expats

After 6 to 12 months working in Singapore on an Employment Pass or S Pass, you can apply for Permanent Residency through ICA. Your prior UAE income, employment stability, and qualifications all strengthen your profile.

We handle eligibility assessment, document preparation, and submission — designed for Dubai-based professionals navigating the process for the first time.

Register Your Company in Singapore from Dubai

You do not need to be physically present in Singapore to incorporate. We act as your registered filing agent and handle the full ACRA process remotely from Dubai — including nominee director, registered address, and corporate bank account introductions.

Most Dubai-based founders complete incorporation in 1 to 3 working days with a minimum paid-up capital of S$1.
